Working closely with the client’s product development team the engineering and technical resources of Gulf Rubber can become an extension of the customer’s existing resource. Gulf Rubber can deliver high quality design solutions and prototype parts quickly any where on the globe.
Components are developed using CAD and CAM with design files being transferred with clients using IGIS or DXF formats. Gulf Rubber can design and work with most 3 D modeling programmes.
Additionally Gulf Rubber uses Design of Experiments(DOE) , Finite Element Analysis(FEA), and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) as part of the development process.
Parts can be developed with compound properties optimised for individual applications. As part of the development process the rubber parts can be bonded to a variety of substrates including:
- Most metals (steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum)
- Most thermoplastics
- Aluminum oxide ceramics
- Industrial fabrics
- Teflon (PTFE)
