Introduction
Diaphragms are used as flexible seal for a wide range of fluids that can
also transfer forces to and from a fluid.
Applications for diaphragms include pressure switches, flow regulators,
pumps, and fluid control valves.
Diaphragms can be supplied in a wide range of elastomers to suit different
end use service requirements.

Materials
- Diaphragms can be manufactured in a wide range of elastomers including
natural rubber, SBR, NBR, EPDM, Silicone, Fluoroelastomer, Fluorosilicone,
Polyurethane and Polyacrylate.
- Materials available with international potable water approvals including
WRAS, WRC, BS6920-UK, ACS Afnor-France, KTW-Germany, AS4020-Australia
& NZ, NSF 61-USA.
- In house compound development to design materials to optimise performance
in customer’s application.
- In house testing of key compound properties for good long term performance
such as stress relaxation, heat ageing, fluid ageing, ozone and chloramine
resistance.
- Experience in supplying diaphragms with excellent chloramine resistance
for service in potable water. Also have diaphragms available with proven
resistance to automotive fluids such as fuel, refrigerant, engine oil,
brake and transmission fluid.
