products - PC Emitter Diaphragms
Introduction
Silicone diaphragms are the key to Pressure Compensating (PC) emitters
especially in topography, which features hills, undulations, and on slopes.
Gulf Rubber Diaphragms are used to endure acidic irrigated water in farms
and recycled water for residential applications.
Diaphragms are the heart of the Drippers. Its function is to compensate
for the varying pressure of dripline.
Diaphragms are custom formulated and moulded to target the specific flow
rate of our customers.
Features & Benefits
- Coefficients of Variation (Cv) are typically less than 5% using the
Gulf Rubber Diaphragms.
- Hardness range is +/- 1 Durometer to ensure consistently throughout
the manufacture of millions of these diaphragms
- Gulf Rubber manufacturers the diaphragms using compression and injection
moulding to ensure the best flow rates are achieved through very highly
controlled manufacturing conditions and processes.
- Dimensional tolerances are +/- 0.05mm for thickness and +/- 0.10mm
for Outer dimensions
Materials
- Typically produced using Silicone and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)
- In house development and customization of compounds and products
- Good long-term stress relaxation, little to no hardness variation,
heat ageing, ozone and chloramines resistance.
